First Visit Sprayberry Orthodontics in Auburn, AL

First Orthodontic Visit at Sprayberry Orthodontics

We’re excited to welcome you to our Sprayberry Orthodontics! When you arrive, please check in with our friendly receptionist.

Dr. Scott Sprayberry will conduct a thorough orthodontic examination and personally discuss the treatment plan with you and your family.

What Is the Purpose of the Initial Orthodontist Consultation?

During your first visit, we aim to answer key questions such as:

  • Is there an orthodontic issue that requires treatment?
  • When is the ideal time to begin treatment?
  • What treatment options are best suited for you?
  • How long will the treatment process take?
  • What will be the total cost of treatment?

What Happens Next?

If orthodontic treatment is recommended at your initial visit, we will gather Diagnostic Records the same day.

What Are Diagnostic Records?

To determine the best course of treatment, we collect:

  • Study models of your teeth
  • Panoramic and cephalometric X-rays with tracings
  • A detailed analysis by the doctor to create a personalized treatment plan

Understanding the Cost of Orthodontic Treatment

The cost of your treatment depends on the complexity of your case. Our treatment coordinator will go over the fees and available payment options during your consultation.

We offer flexible payment plans to fit your budget and accept most insurance assignments. Our goal is to make achieving your perfect smile as affordable as possible.

What’s Included in Your Investment?

Your treatment investment covers:

  • Comprehensive orthodontic records (X-rays, study models, and growth analysis)
  • Active treatment for both early intervention and full orthodontic care, including all appliances, office visits, and in-office procedures
  • Durable appliances that last throughout treatment when properly cared for
  • One set of final retainers for comprehensive treatment (Phase II) patients (Additional fees apply for lost or broken retainers.)

What’s Not Included in the Investment?

  • Procedures performed by other dental specialists outside our office
  • Additional treatment due to accidents or injuries that result in TMJ complications or require orthognathic surgery (A fee adjustment may be necessary.)

Insurance and Payment Assistance

We accept the assignment of benefits for most insurance plans, which helps lower your out-of-pocket costs. If we are not in-network with your insurance, we will still assist you by filing claims so you can receive direct reimbursement.

If your insurance coverage changes during your treatment, please notify us immediately so we can adjust your contract accordingly.

Office Hours and Appointment Policy

We value your time and strive to keep all appointments running on schedule. To help us maintain a smooth workflow, we kindly ask that you arrive on time for your visits. This ensures that we can complete your treatment efficiently and answer any questions you may have.

Your cooperation allows us to provide the best possible care to all our patients. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to helping you achieve a confident, healthy smile!
